Get To Know The NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was created by the Australian government so that people living with a permanent or significant disability could live a healthy, fulfilling life as independently as possible. It provides funds for supports that help you get through daily life or specific life changes with ease and comfort. The NDIS also ensures that people with disability are treated equally in society and are not left out of community activities that are essential to their wellbeing.

If you are an Australian resident with a disability that affects your quality of life and if you are between the ages of 7 and 65, you could be eligible for NDIS funding. Once you qualify for funding, you can reach out to a registered NDIS provider like ACS to get started with quality supports that will improve your physical and mental health and help you meet your life goals.
